Accenture Federal Services is Hiring a Manual Test Engineer Near San Antonio, TX

You are:

Our clients. “Testing 1-2-3” Your mic check responsibilities include applying business requirements, Testing knowledge and technical expertise in the implementation of test automation suites to validate software application functionality. You love performing hands on design, coding, enhancing, and testing of software applications in order to meet business process requirements. Critics and audiences are wowed by how you apply your Testing knowledge and technical expertise in the automation and quality engineering efforts of every delivery. And of course, an in-depth understanding of testing, including theory and concepts are music to your ears.

The work:

  • Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle.
  • Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies.
  • Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
  • Applies business and functional knowledge to meet the teams’ overall test objectives.
  • Coaches and advises testers as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing test strategy, creating, reviewing and executing test cases based on business requirements
  • Documenting results of test cases based on system requirements, functional and technical specifications
  • Ensuring software meets intended user requirements and user scenarios
  • Reporting defects and document issues as required in Jira
  • Assisting development team in triage and resolution of defects
  • Performing re-test of defects and review test results
  • Developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests
  • Working with application teams to help populate and/or create test data in the test environment

Here’s what you need:

  • Strong Test Management skills
  • Expertise in Testing Planning and Strategy
  • Mortgage industry experience, especially around Loan Origination
  • Lead creation of test scenarios and test cases, including End-to-End test scenarios
  • Experience working with APIs
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, Postman, API testing
  • DevOps experience
    Bonus points if you have:
  • Knowledge of MISMO formats
  • Experience with test automation strategy and implementation
    Eligibility Requirements:
  • US Citizenship required

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:

California: Use ranges ($67,200 - $120,000)

Colorado: Use ranges ($67,200 - $103,600)

New York: Use ranges ($62,100 - $120,000)

Washington State: Use ranges ($71,500 - $110,400)
